Romans 12:1 (NASB95) 1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

C. To you, is death gain? (1:21b)

II. To Serve is Joy (1:22-26)

1. Review the Small Group charter. What’s something your small group needs to work on together?
2. What do you think the main idea of this sermon was? 
3. Jim Elliot said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” What does that mean? Do you agree?
4. God deserves to be loved whole-heartedly, with all that we are. Are there any areas of your life where you struggle or hesitate to do that? Why do you think you want to keep that specific area from God? 
5. Who are some Christians you look up to because they love Jesus whole-heartedly and serve His people faithfully? What about their life do you want to copy, and why? 
6. Who can you serve to help them grow in their faith? How are you going to do that?
