Membership

What does it mean to be a member at Lighthouse?

Becoming a member of Lighthouse means that you are making a public and formal commitment to being a vital part of God’s church, through this local church family. Membership is a two-way commitment: You are committing yourself to the other members at Lighthouse and the leadership of the elders, and the elders are committing to you as those for whom they are accountable (Heb 13:17).

How do I become a member at Lighthouse?

In order to become a member, you must:

  • Be a baptized believer
  • Complete our six-week membership class
  • Be interviewed by a pastor at the end of the membership class

How do I update my membership information?

Updating your membership information helps us as the church leadership to better keep up with you and your family and to better love and serve you well. Let us know if there any changes to your personal information (e.g., contact information, areas you’d like to serve in, household information, etc.)

How do I sign up for membership class?

We offer our six-week membership class three times a year. Sign ups for each class open about two months before the start date. If you have any other questions about membership, please contact Pastor Francis Chow. We hope you will consider joining the Lighthouse church family!
