Hi Lighthouse Church Family! We miss you and we want to keep in touch! “Checking in with the Church Family” is a new series to help us stay connected, provide encouragement, and remind us all of how God has been good and faithful to Lighthouse during this unique season. Stay tuned for updates from different ministries, highlights, interviews and encouragements as we all continue to think through loving and serving others during this time.
Here is just a glimpse of how the staff has been staying connected while working from home – virtual staff lunches and prayer meetings, staff “hangouts”, celebrating birthdays, and praying for one another. We wish we could catch up with you in the foyer or Fellowship Hall or church parking lot but this will do for now! We miss the coffee … but in all seriousness, we miss you all more! We are praying for you – please pray for us!
Ways You Can Be Praying for the Staff:
- Please pray that we would relentlessly pursue a deeper worship of Christ
- Please pray for wisdom for the pastors as they adjust to shepherding the flock in this season of Safer at Home
- Please pray that the staff would approach each person we come into contact with with patience, humility and a desire to learn what God wants to teach us
- Please pray for the staff in the same way you pray for each other – for our marriages, our relationships, etc – that we would demonstrate the love of Christ with each interaction and that we would hope in the steadfast love of the Lord.
