The Cruciformed Church (Part 3): Gospel Conviction and Gospel Culture (Galatians 3:26-28)

The cruciformed church is transformed by the message of the cross, to show the love of the cross.

Key Idea: Gospel conviction will lead to a gospel culture of unity and love.

  1. A church culture is not driven first by its gospel confessions, but its gospel convictions
  2. A church culture driven only by gospel confession (and not conviction) will be marked by distinction and division
  3. A church culture driven by gospel conviction will be marked by unity and love

“Trust is not a passive state of mind. It is a vigorous act of the soul by which we choose to lay hold on the promises of God and cling to them despite the adversity that at times seeks to overwhelm us.” – Jerry Bridges
