    1. Generative AI and large language models work by predicting what comes next.
    2. Three technical limitations: hallucinations, sycophancy, and data bias
    3. AI does not know God, love your students, pray or possess wisdom, or bear accountability before God.
  2. The Ministry of the Word Is Primarily Done Through and For Worship
    1. 2 Timothy 3:14-17: relationships and character matter, and the Word leads to Christ and maturity.
    2. Information is not the whole ministry: knowing and submitting to the Word, prayerful dependence, knowing and loving children, discernment and wisdom, faithful application, and trusting God to work
  3. What About the Process Do I Want to Protect?
    1. Prayer, wrestling with the Word, personal response, knowing the children, and responsibility and conviction
    2. What might AI reveal about our hearts? Avoiding necessary friction, wanting to look like the expert, prioritizing polish over faithfulness, confusing productivity with faithfulness
  4. What Might Faithful AI Use Look Like?
    1. A helpful assistant for formatting and organizing material, feedback and editing for clarity, a starting point for research, adapting language for your audience, and creating visual aids, slide decks, and worksheets
