A 3-Part Definition of a Church:

1. A group of Christians
2. who regularly gather to proclaim Christ
3. and help each other follow him

Three Ways to Love Your Church:

I. Care for them (v.7-8)

Show gentleness and affection towards others

II. Work hard for them (v9-10)

Work hard at loving others and being a good example

III. Encourage them (v.11-12)

Point one another towards Christ

1. What’s one thing you remember from the sermon and why (verse, story, application, etc.)?
2. What is something that you learned about the church?
3. Who at Lighthouse has been an example of a caring person? Who has pointed you to Jesus with gentleness and care? 
4. Where are moments in your life where you have the opportunity to serve other people in the church? (ex: welcoming others, cleaning up, praying for people)
5. What hurts in your life? How can you allow the church to help carry your burdens?
