Sunday Fuel: March 15, 2026

Welcome to Sunday Fuel! This series of questions is designed to assist your personal reflection and fellowship with others about the sermon from this past Sunday.

1. What dark, messy, or hard situation are you struggling with today? What solutions do you look to in order to make your life better? What saviors do you rely on to save you when life looks bad?

During these times, we have an opportunity to either choose to trust God in faith or choose to trust a false savior.

2. As a child of God, what specific promise or attribute of God (such as his goodness, kindness, faithfulness, etc.) do you need to cling to in the midst of your suffering? How might believing these are true make a difference in the difficulty you’re in? Take some time to pray and ask God to help you grow in faith and trust. If these truths are real, how might they change how you think, speak, or act?

3. Think through the past week. What are some moments of stress, hopelessness, despair, fear or guilt that you have experienced? In what ways have you stopped looking to Christ and started looking elsewhere? How might these false saviors actually be more dangerous in the long run for your growth in faith? Will you repent, confessing your wayward gaze? Commit to look back to Him, praying for his help to do so.

4. Spend time thanking God for our Savior who entered the hopeless world we dwell in, taking on the sin that darkens our heart. Thank Him that even though we may fail to be faithful to Him, He is relentlessly faithful to us, even in our failures.
