Sunday Fuel: March 23, 2025

Welcome to Sunday Fuel! This series of questions is designed to assist your personal reflection and fellowship with others about the sermon from this past Sunday.

Go to This Sunday’s Sermon

1.Read and meditate on 2 Cor. 8:9 and 2 Cor. 5:21. Consider your spiritual poverty without Him. Think on what it means that Christ is “rich” but exchanged it for our poverty. Reflect on what it means to be rich in Christ. Ask God to open and soften your heart to receive and appreciate His great love for you.

    2. Admit any fears to Him. Reflect on 2 Cor. 9:8, particularly the truth “God is able.” If this is true, how does this change your perspective on your fears? Confess the ways in which you fail to sow bountifully because of your fears.

    3. Joyfully practice being a steward this week:

    • Take a look around your home. What has God blessed you with through someone else’s generosity to you? Are there things in your home that are in good repair that you might share with others? Who might be a good “fit” for your gift? Make time to contact this individual or family to bless them with this gift—and share it with them in the spirit of the love of Christ.
    • If this is not feasible for you, consider how you can invest in a missionary with a special gift. Enclose a note expressing your gratitude to God and your encouragement to them.
