Sunday Fuel: May 3, 2026

Welcome to Sunday Fuel! This series of questions is designed to assist your personal reflection and fellowship with others about the sermon from this past Sunday.

Go to This Sunday’s Sermon (start at 36:47)

Select the question(s) that are most helpful to you:

1. If you have committed to giving but are feeling the pinch or struggle that comes with giving generously, how might this be an opportunity for you to grow closer to the Lord in faith? Thank God for the gospel that has the power to transform hearts, give us a new way of seeing and a new set of values. Ask Him to help you find joy with this opportunity to invest in the eternal things He treasures.

2. How has money become a substitute source of security, identity and hope instead of Christ? Take time to meditate on how being generous can help you to grow in these areas.

3. After reviewing this devotional, can you put into words why your financial sacrifice is a good investment that produces great profit, both in the present and in eternity? What are ways you have seen God disciple and change you in the present as you have participated in the generosity initiative? Will you renew your commitment to manage on His behalf what God has given you for eternity?

4. If you would like more details on the building project or if you are new to the church and would like to learn how you can participate in this stewardship opportunity, make plans to attend the informational meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 7:30-8:45 pm at the church. You can also check out the church website for more details and photos.
