Three Commands for Children of Light:

I. Do not be deceived (v.6-7)

Main Point: Sin leads to God’s wrath

II. Walk in The Light (v.8-10)

Main Point: Identity transforms actions

III. Reject Darkness and Look to Jesus (v.11-14)

Main Point: Turn to Christ for salvation

1. Ice-Breaker: What would be the theme song of your life?
2. What stood out from the message and why? (ex: a verse, illustration, story, quote, sentence, etc.)
3. How have you seen God transform your life from darkness to light? What are evidences of transformation that you can point to?
4. If friends were to look at your actions and pursuits in life, would they know that you are a Christian?
5. Who are the main people you spend your time with on a weekly basis? In those relationships, are you pushed towards Christ or pushed towards sin?
6. What might it look like for you to live differently from the world in your current context?
7. What sins have you given up on trying to fight? How could your small group best support you in this?
8. Would you consider yourself a Christian? Why or why not?
