This Is Youth Ministry!

From Colossians 1:28-29, Pastor Brett Nakashima casts the biblical vision for Lighthouse Youth: youth ministry exists to proclaim Christ so that every student is presented mature in Him. It is a foundation for the year ahead, built on proclamation, equipping, and loving community.

1. A ministry of proclamation: holding out Christ from God’s Word, week in and week out.
2. Equipping students for a life of obedience and worship, growing mature in Christ.
3. The centrality of loving community and discipleship, with parents leading the way.
