Outdoor Service

Lighthouse is meeting in-person! We will be gathering in our outdoor tent for corporate worship every Sunday at 9 AM and 11 AM.

Update: We have reached capacity for this week's services. You can sign up for the wait list below. We will not allow walk ups, but both services will be livestreamed so you can worship from home.

What Should I Expect?

Registration

  • All attendees will be required to register online in advance of attending each on-site service.
  • Registration will open on Mondays at 9:00 a.m.
  • Registration is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. If registration is full at the time you attempt to register, please register for the waiting list as we may be able to accommodate you if space opens up.
  • If after registering for a service, you determine that you will no longer be able to attend, please notify Nicole Tsuruda at nicole@lighthousesouthbay.org
  • If you experience any challenges in the registration process, please contact Nicole Tsuruda at nicole@lighthousesouthbay.org.

Arrival & Parking

  • Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the worship service to allow ample time for parking and check-in.
  • Please allow for empty parking spaces between vehicles and maintain six-feet social distancing between other attendees in parking areas and walkways.
  • Please put on your mask before exiting your vehicle. Attendees will be required to wear masks at all times while on campus at Lighthouse. If you do not have a mask, one will be available for you upon check-in. Children age 2 and younger are not required to wear a face mask.

Check-In

  • After parking, you will be directed to one of the check-in stations in our Welcome Area.
  • A Lighthouse volunteer will take your temperature and ask if you or anyone in your party have experienced COVID symptoms in the past 10 days, or if you have had close contact (meaning under 6 feet for more than 15 minutes without medical-grade PPE) with anyone who has tested positive for COVID 19 or is under suspicion of having COVID-19.
  • If you answer yes to either question or have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, you will not be permitted to attend the on-site service, per CDC guidelines.
  • Once you are checked-in, ushers will direct you to available seating.

Worship Service

  • All written materials for the service (song lyrics, readings, announcements, sermon notes) will be provided digitally through the Church Center app.
  • Attendees must wear their mask at all times during the worship service.
  • Attendees will be seated within their own household.
  • All water fountains and after-service food/drinks have been suspended. No food or beverages are to be consumed during the service.
  • Indoor restrooms will be available with a maximum capacity of one occupant at a time.
  • The services will begin promptly at 9 AM and 11 AM and will end at approximately 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM respectively.
  • On communion Sundays, prepackaged communion elements will be available.
  • We encourage giving through the Church Center app or through the Lighthouse website, but offering drop-boxes will be available on site.
  • At the conclusion of the service, attendees will be dismissed by section. We ask that you leave the site in a timely manner to ensure that we are able to clean and sanitize the space, as well as to facilitate parking for the subsequent service.

Contact Tracing

If an attendee experiences COVID-19 symptoms:

Attendees who experience COVID-19 symptoms within 48 hours of attending an on-site worship service are expected to contact the Lighthouse immediately via email at info@lighthousesouthbay.org. These attendees are expected to follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantining and returning to health before registering for another on-site service at Lighthouse.

If an attendee tests positive for COVID-19:

All attendees who attended the same on-site service as the attendee who confirmed positive of COVID-19 will be notified. The attendee who confirmed positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to attend an on-site service until they have surpassed a 10-day symptom-free time period or have tested negative of COVID-19 in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

We will be livestreaming both our 9 AM and 11 AM services so you can continue to worship with the church family from home. See our Livestream page here.

Yes. If an attendee attempts to check-in for an on-site service but has not previously registered, they will not be permitted to attend the service.

Yes, you may bring your child/ren. At this time, we are not offering Children’s Ministry services, so all children must stay with their households at all times. We ask that families bringing children understand that all safety measures will apply to children as well. This includes social distancing, refraining from physical contact with other attendees, and wearing a face mask at all times (Children age 2 and younger are not required to wear a mask).

Yes! We are looking forward to worshiping through music together!

We are looking forward to seeing each other face to face (even while masked!), and we see our in-person interactions as invaluable. When interacting with others before, during, and after the service, please keep your masks on, practice social distancing, and refrain from physical contact. We ask that attendees not linger after service so we can prepare the worship area and parking lot for the subsequent service.

Lighthouse has a limited supply of face masks available for attendees who do not have one.

We will check all staff, volunteers, and attendees as they are joining us for the service. CDC and County guidelines indicate a person presenting a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher should not be admitted.

Please contact us immediately via email at info@lighthousesouthbay.org. Please follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantining and returning to health before registering for another Lighthouse on-site service.

All attendees who attended the same service as the attendee who confirmed positive of COVID-19 will be notified. The attendee who confirmed positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to attend an on-site service until they have been cleared in accordance with CDC guidelines.
