Outdoor Service

Lighthouse is meeting in-person! We will be gathering indoors and outdoors for corporate worship every Sunday at 9 AM and 11 AM.

Update: We have reached capacity for this week's services. You can sign up for the wait list below. We will not allow walk ups, but both services will be livestreamed so you can worship from home.

What Should I Expect?

General Information

  • Registration is no longer required to attend our in-person services.
  • Our main service will be held indoors in our sanctuary and additional seating will also be available to view the livestream in our gym and outside under the tent.
  • Children’s ministry is currently meeting in-person at a limited capacity, so please be sure to register your children beforehand.

Check-In

  • After parking, you will be directed to one of the check-in stations in our Welcome Area.
  • A Lighthouse volunteer will take your temperature and ask if you or anyone in your party have experienced COVID symptoms in the past 10 days, or if you have had close contact (meaning under 6 feet for more than 15 minutes without medical-grade PPE) with anyone who has tested positive for COVID 19 or is under suspicion of having COVID-19.
  • If you answer yes to either question or have a temperature of 100.4 or higher, you will not be permitted to attend the on-site service, per CDC guidelines.
  • Once you are checked-in, ushers will direct you to available seating.

Worship Service

  • All written materials for the service (song lyrics, readings, announcements, sermon notes) will be provided digitally through the Church Center app.
  • Attendees must wear their mask at all times during the worship service.
  • Attendees will be seated within their own household.
  • All water fountains and after-service food/drinks have been suspended.
  • The services will begin promptly at 9 AM and 11 AM and will end at approximately 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM respectively.
  • On communion Sundays, prepackaged communion elements will be available.
  • We encourage giving through the Church Center app or through the Lighthouse website, but offering drop-boxes will be available on site.

If an attendee experiences COVID-19 symptoms:

Attendees who experience COVID-19 symptoms within 48 hours of attending an on-site worship service are expected to contact the Lighthouse immediately via email at info@lighthousesouthbay.org. These attendees are expected to follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantining and returning to health before registering for another on-site service at Lighthouse.

If an attendee tests positive for COVID-19:

The church family will be notified. The attendee who confirmed positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to attend an on-site service until they have surpassed a 10-day symptom-free time period or have tested negative of COVID-19 in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

We will be livestreaming both our 9 AM and 11 AM services so you can continue to worship with the church family from home. See our Livestream page here.

No. Pre-registration is no longer required.

Yes, you may bring your child/ren. At this time, we are offering Children’s Ministry services, so you may register your children for children’s ministry or keep them with you when you attend service. We ask that families bringing children understand that all safety measures will apply to children as well. This includes social distancing, refraining from physical contact with other attendees, and wearing a face mask at all times (Children age 2 and younger are not required to wear a mask).

Yes! We are looking forward to worshiping through music together!

We are looking forward to seeing each other face to face (even while masked!), and we see our in-person interactions as invaluable. When interacting with others before, during, and after the service, please keep your masks on and maintain a safe distance from other households. We ask that attendees not linger after service so we can prepare the worship area and parking lot for the subsequent service.

Lighthouse has a limited supply of face masks available for attendees who do not have one.

We will check all staff, volunteers, and attendees as they are joining us for the service. CDC and County guidelines indicate a person presenting a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher should not be admitted.

Please contact us immediately via email at info@lighthousesouthbay.org. Please follow CDC guidelines for self-quarantining and returning to health before registering for another Lighthouse on-site service.

All attendees who attended the same service as the attendee who confirmed positive of COVID-19 will be notified. The attendee who confirmed positive for COVID-19 will not be permitted to attend an on-site service until they have been cleared in accordance with CDC guidelines.
