Sunday Fuel: April 26, 2026

Welcome to Sunday Fuel! This series of questions is designed to assist your personal reflection and fellowship with others about the sermon from this past Sunday.

Go to This Sunday’s Sermon (start at 22:11)

One of the dangers we face is the tendency to forget the truth of God’s greatness. In times of trouble, this makes things all the harder. In times of prosperity, we can take things for granted.

1. Psalm 145:5 says “On the glorious splendor of your majesty and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.”  Take some time to meditate on God’s kindness and greatness to you this week. If you were asked to testify of his mighty acts and awesome deeds what can you share? It does not need to be extraordinary or miraculous—sometimes what makes it awesome is that He has not failed in His care for us.

2. Ask someone in your family or another church friend to share their testimony of God’s great work in their lives. Or listen again to the testimonies from this week’s sermon.

3. Take time to thank God for the specific ways He has been kind to you. Worship Him in song, such as “Jesus Strong and Kind.” How might remembering His kindness to you help you in the trials of today?
