Icebreaker Question: Share the last time you were had a conflict with someone. What happened? What could you have done better to have avoided this?

Partiality in judging is not good.
Whoever says to the wicked, “You are in the right,”
will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations,
but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight,
and a good blessing will come upon them.

Key Idea: We ought to be humble, honest, and loving as we interact with one another.
Discussion Questions:
- Can you think of a time where you played favorites with friends?
- Have you ever exaggerated something so that you can get your way or so that others will think better of you?
- In the above two situations, how can we be more honest? What would be the result?
Spend time in prayer as a family

- For the children in our church family – That they will know how important it is to always be honest in our speech.
- For the parents in our church family – That they may be thoughtful, loving, gracious, and honest in their speech, especially over current hot topics.
- For our church family – That we may continue to seek unity even when we don’t see eye to eye on an issue.
