I really like Noel Piper’s book on traditions (Treasuring God in Our Traditions), and appreciate her wisdom in this article in which she discusses how we celebrate Christmas when others have less of a Christian focus. It’s called, “When Grandma and Grandpa Don’t Celebrate Like We Do.”
Advent Guides
Shepherding our kids around Christmas has its challenges. The Village Church has produced various Advent Guides in the recent years to use for family worship. Here is 2013, and here is 2012.
