Children's Ministry

The passion of Lighthouse's Children's Ministries is to glorify God in and through the children of our church. This begins with God's Word. By teaching directly from Scripture, we want each child to know, love and have a relationship with the God of Scripture. We believe this relationship begins with the Gospel message, which explains the good news of Jesus' death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Our prayerful hope is that each child will realize they are a sinner, confess their sins, place their faith in Jesus' work on the cross for forgiveness and eternal life, and live a life that glorifies God as one of his children.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Children's Ministries to glorify God by teaching and applying His Word, worshipping God in song & actions, and building influential relationships with the children in our church.

Vision

Our vision is for each child to glorify God by loving God and loving others.

Theme Verse

Our theme verse comes from Deuteronomy 4:5-10. We believe that a child who knows God's Word

• Lives in the fear of the Lord

Lighthouse offers age-specific child care during the Sunday morning worship service

• Gloworms (1 to 2 years old)
• Shooting Stars (2 years old)
• Fireflies (3 years old)
• Sparklers (Pre-K to Kindergarten)
• Flashlights (1st to 2nd grade)
• Searchlights (3rd to 5th grade)
