Lamplighters
Lamplighters is a ministry for moms with infant to pre-kindergarten age children. The purpose of this ministry is to bring glory to God by encouraging moms to grow in Christ-likeness through the Word, evangelism and fellowship.
Lamplighters meets Tuesday mornings at South Bay Community Church. We have a speaker who teaches from God's Word on various topics: marriage, raising kids, our walks with God or growing in godly character. We also have a second speaker who teaches a practical activity that will help us become more like the Proverbs 31 woman.
While we meet, we have loving caregivers who sacrifice their time to watch our little ones. The older kids have a bible story lesson, do a craft and have musical worship time. Their time is rich in God's love and fellowship!
Our theme verse is Colossians 1:10-12. ".. so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light."
