Torrance Approves our CUP!

Praise God! The city of Torrance has approved our CUP!

The leadership wants to thank you for your prayers. We hope that you are encouraged by the faithfulness of our God. If you have been at Lighthouse for any amount of time you know that I believe we should praise God no matter the circumstances. This was one one of the major premises of last year's six-week series on suffering, that can thank God for all things, even the blessing of our trials.

That being said, we must also glady take this kind of blessing, the blessing of answered prayer, the blessing of a favorable ruling by the city – and we must say, “God is good, so good, so undeservedly good to us!” The gospel tells us that the one thing we actually deserve in life is wrath for our sins, and instead he does this? It boggles the mind. He is our faithful, heavenly Father. Again, praise God.
